The Book Club was created by students of SMU who have interest in reading. Student members come together to read, share, and discuss a wide variety of books. The Club’s goal and mission is to inspire students to be more critical readers. Developing critical thinking and enhancing students’ reading skills are just two of their many visions. The Book Club helps and motivates students read outside of their academic areas. The Club connects students to public libraries, and creates relationships with the aim of building good reading habits so that students will keep reading even after they have graduated.
