St. Mary’s University Faculty of Informatics organized the 9th ICT Exhibition, featuring a series of educative and intellectually engaging activities. Held in the open air of the Undergraduate Campus, the exhibition commenced on May 15, 2024, and concluded three days later, on May 17, 2024.

During this event, Computer Science students showcased technology solutions aimed at addressing diverse institutional and community challenges. Notable presentations included a solution for identifying host institutions, managing interns’ placements, and implementing follow-up mechanisms. Additionally, the students presented an identity authentication solution, which enhances campus security by allowing only active students through the gates. Many other innovative solutions were also exhibited.

The exhibition culminated in a lively panel discussion. The panelists emphasized the dynamic nature of software development tools and advised students to stay informed about recent technological developments through continuous reading. They encouraged students to invest time outside the classroom, keeping pace with the rapid advancements in technology. Furthermore, the panelists highlighted the importance of participating in extracurricular activities to develop communication, networking, and social skills—a valuable asset for future job seekers.
